Couple looking for rustic charm
We stayed there for 2 nights in a cozy cottage and it was surprisingly nice. The bathroom had been revamped and loved it, really added a touch of comfort to our stay.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but the value felt right.

Cottage #8 had a cozy, rustic charm that we loved. The setting among the pine trees was beautiful. The heater in the bathroom was a nice touch, especially during the cooler nights. The screened-in porch provided a comfortable hangout space. Unfortunately, the musty smell upon arrival was concerning, and it seemed to linger throughout our stay. Staff provided a Glade plug-in, which helped somewhat, but the odor was definitely a downside. The experience reminded me of a comfy camping trip, especially being only 10 minutes from Main St Bar Harbor. If you're looking for a neat camping atmosphere, it's a great option.

We stayed in hinckleys dreamwood cottages in cottage 14, and it was a good surprise! The cottage was updated, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. It's conveniently located across the road from mainely meats and an ice cream joint. The attention to detail was excellent.
